The School of American Ballet holds a special place in my heart, and I feel truly grateful and blessed to have had the opportunity to return, not as a student, but as a mentor to the next generation of talented young dancers.

Stepping back into the classrooms of this esteemed institution, where I once honed my skills, was an exhilarating experience. This was not merely a trip down memory lane but a chance to give back to the institution that played a significant role in my artistic journey.

The young dancers I had the honor of teaching showed dedication, passion, and raw talent – qualities that the School of American Ballet continually fosters in its students. Their eagerness to learn and their persistent pursuit of perfection were heartwarming to witness and even more rewarding to teach.

Under the revered banner of the School of American Ballet, these budding artists are following in the footsteps of many greats who have graced the stages of world-class theaters. It was a privilege to contribute to their journey, sharing insights from my experiences, and helping guide their artistic growth.

Returning to the School of American Ballet, albeit for a short while, was a fulfilling and enriching experience.

I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Aesha Ash and the School of American Ballet for welcoming me back and allowing me to be part of the incredible work they do. Here’s to nurturing the future stars of ballet, and to the continuous celebration of dance and its ability to inspire, transform, and connect us.
