Music has always been at the heart of my creative practice.

Whether I’m choreographing a new dance work, teaching a class, or building a soundtrack for a performance, I spend countless hours exploring how music shapes emotion, rhythm, and human connection.

It was a pleasure to bring that passion to Museum Tinguely as a guest curator for their Sound Bar series. Invited as a dancer, choreographer, and arts educator, I shared a selection of music that reflects my journey—from growing up in Brooklyn to building my artistic life in Basel.

The evening blended hip hop, Afrobeat, dance music, and artists who continue to inspire my creative work, including Kaytranada, Bad Bunny, and Drake. More than anything, I wanted to create an atmosphere where everyone felt welcome to dance, regardless of age, experience, or background.

Thank you to Museum Tinguely for the invitation and for celebrating the connection between music, movement, and community.
