Creating She Made Space for the talented dancers of New York City’s Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts was both a privilege and a joy.

The work explores how generosity, care, and quiet acts of courage can create room for others to grow. Rather than focusing on individual achievement, the choreography asks what becomes possible when we choose to support one another, listen deeply, and make space for different voices to be seen and heard.

Working with these remarkable young artists reminded me why I continue to create for students. Their curiosity, commitment, and willingness to take risks brought the work to life in ways I could never have imagined.

My sincere thanks to the students and faculty of LaGuardia High School for their trust, artistry, and dedication throughout the creative process. A special Thank you to Greg, Kristen and Ms. Mathesius for believing in my work.
